Al Mustaqim - Journal of Islamic Finance, Sustainabilty and Digital Innovation, published by Rasyidin Institute, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous and fair peer review process.
This journal employs a double-blind peer review process, meaning that both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous throughout the review period to ensure impartiality and objectivity.
1️⃣ Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editors to ensure they align with the journal’s scope and basic submission requirements. Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage if they do not meet minimum academic or ethical standards.
2️⃣ Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts passing the initial screening will be checked for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with significant similarity may be rejected outright.
3️⃣ Peer Review Assignment
Eligible manuscripts are then sent to at least two (2) independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.
4️⃣ Review Duration
Reviewers are given a standard time frame (typically 2–4 weeks) to complete their review and provide constructive, objective feedback.
5️⃣ Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for originality, relevance, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
6️⃣ Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
Accept Submission
Revisions Required (Minor or Major)
Resubmit for Review (if substantial changes are needed)
Decline Submission
7️⃣ Revision and Final Decision
If revisions are requested, authors are required to address reviewers’ comments point by point and submit a revised manuscript. The revised version may be sent back to the original reviewers for further evaluation before a final decision is made.
All reviewers are expected to:
Provide constructive, unbiased, and timely feedback.
Maintain confidentiality and not disclose any manuscript content.
Declare any potential conflicts of interest immediately.
Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by sponsors, advertisers, or other external parties. All accepted articles must pass the peer review process.
