Focus and Scope

Tawadhu – Journal of Islamic Studies is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal committed to fostering critical and original scholarship in the broad discipline of Islamic Studies. Published twice a year in June and December, by Rasyidin Institute. The journal aspires to become a reputable academic forum for scholars, researchers, educators, and students who are interested in deepening and expanding the understanding of Islam and Muslim societies in both classical and contemporary contexts.

This journal serves as a reputable platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, regulators, and students to publish high-quality research papers, case studies, and conceptual articles that contribute to the development of an inclusive, resilient, and technology-driven Islamic finance industry.

Scope and Focus
Tawadhu invites original research articles, theoretical papers, and reviews covering, but not limited to, the following areas:

Publication Details
Tawadhu – Journal of Islamic Studies publishes two issues per year in June and December. Submissions are accepted in English for wider reach. Every manuscript is subject to a rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure high academic standards and scholarly integrity.
